Shoebill Adventures Mabamba started way back in 2020 to organize memorable trips to Mabamba for the famous shoebill tracking. Shoebill Adventures Mabamba is a local company that was started by a local Uganda Bird Guide to provide job opportunities to the local boat fishermen, local youths as guides. Therefore, some of the money from this project is shared with our community.
We Organize personally tailored bird trips, Couple Bird Tours, Family Bird Tours and Group Bird Tours to different destinations in various parts of Uganda
A one-day Bird tour to Mabamba Swamp for Shoebill watching offer you an opportunity to ride on a local wooden boat through Mabamba Swamp on Lake Victoria viewing the beautiful sceneries. Mabamba Swamp provides the highest chances of viewing the Shoebill in the wild in Uganda and the entire World which makes Mabamba famous.

About the Director
Shoebill Adventure Mabamba was initiated by Miiro David who is a prominent bird Photographer and a Photograph contributor on eBird and Macaulay Library with ID number ML6304808. David is a Bird Guide, also a leading member in ENTEBBE BIRDING CLUB. He owns a Homestay called Plastic Bottles House located in Entebbe where most of his clients/ Guests who would love to stay with a LOCAL UGANDAN family to experience local life and taste local dishes, spend a night before continuing to Mabamba swamp for Shoebill Tracking.
